Mama visited with her youngster at 2pm but in the mid-afternoon for now
this sibling is all alone and waiting for a meal.
Later in the afternoon Mama feeds her youngster and spends time at
the nest.
Fueled with a good meal and back to practicing for takeoff.
During a practice session we get a good view of this youngsters talons.
Is Mama or Papa watching from above the nest?
One would believe that Mama and her fantastic vision can actually see us
all watching her and her family from behind the lens of this camera...
Practice makes for some good lift.
They have a much different perspective of our world.
This youngster is up past its bed time, seven minutes after midnight.
In high gear but no take off today.
Another serious looking attempt to take off, but not today.
Mama came to the nest and shared a meal with her youngster.
Nibbling a morsel of food left from a prior meal/
Keeping busy with nest duties, sometimes they appear to be playing with
the twigs.
Papa delivered food this evening and the youngster immediately mantled
the meal and did not want Papa to get close to the food.
This is another unique way to stay dry from the pounding rain - don't
move Mom.
This photograph taken Sunday June 3rd in the rain of the fledgling sitting
on a railing to the West of the nest. His sibling still resides in the nest.
Our fledgling is doing fine, it was sitting on this ledge for a very long time
on Sunday June 3rd.
